Insurance can only be provided for renters who meet the following criteria:

• Be a UK resident
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Be aged between 21 and 70 years old
• Have 2+ years of driving experience
• Have no more than 3 penalty points
• Have had no more than 1 incident or claim in the last 3 years
• Have no DVLA notifiable medical conditions

Home Delivery

For customers in RG1, RG30 and RG31 vehicles will be delivered and collected from your home address.

Outside of these areas please contact us and we will do our best to arrange a collection and delivery location as convenient as possible.

Levels of damage.

To keep things simple, we have three levels of damage:

• Acceptable damage - A single piece of damage that is measurably less significant than any existing damage on the vehicle is considered acceptable and is not chargeable.
• Minor damage - A single piece of damage that is measurably more significant than any existing damage on the vehicle and can be repaired for less than the insurance excess of £750. Repairs will be carried out at the least possible expense to yourself.
• Major damage - Any damage that is not repairable for less than the insurance excess of £750. In these cases the full excess will be charged to you, but we will make every effort to avoid this.

Insurance claims carry a £750 excess.

In the event of an accident involving a third party all claims will be dealt with by our insurance provider. The policy excess is £750 and this will always be payable in full. This is not an insignificant amount of money and we would always recommend purchasing 3rd party car hire excess cover. This is available for as little as £2 a day and in the event of an accident the cover will pay the full amount on your behalf.

We keep our costs down.

To keep our costs at a minimum we do not maintain customer facing premises nor do we spend money on marketing, vehicle finance, avoidable insurance claims or sales staff. It is only by keeping our costs down we can offer affordable rates so we just ask you to treat our vehicles as you would your own.

Cheap van rental is popular.

With van rental the biggest cost is vehicle depreciation and damage. Our stock of older vehicles are ideal for tip runs, moving home or even just getting about as they serve their purpose perfectly without the huge overheads of buying new or nearly new. In addition we can tolerate the small day to day bumps and scrapes without the need to make costly insurance claims and repairs that new vehicles would incur.
